Welcome to Rusty Hollow..

You've awoken on a piece of land that is alien to you. It looks, and somewhat feels like earth; but the atmosphere is different. Maybe not literally, but it FEELS different. 

​

You explore, trying to find any basic knowledge of the place you've just woke at and why you're there. And slowly, you start to gather bits of knowledge. You know you aren't alone, you've heard things. Seen structures that seem to be recently built, structures that seem to be made from scraps. 

​

As night falls, the true horror of whats around you begins to set in..

​

"What are they?" and "What are these creatures?! Why are they following me?" seem to be the only topics running through your head as you make your way. Are they human? Are they...something else? Whatever they are, they want to hurt you. They want to end you.

​

You find shelter in what seems to be an abandoned cabin, only having a stone you've fashioned into a tool, a spear you've made from a branch; and a torch you've made from a piece of cloth you found during the night. 

​

As day creeps upon you, you continue trying to figure out what exactly is going on here. And that's when you see it. A large military type helicopter flying over you. That's it, you knew you weren't alone. And you were being watched...

 

In the distance, you hear gun fire. This alarms you as you thought you were the only...human around. And to your surprise you see men in blue...hazmat suits..fighting what appears to be a small group of men. 

​

They looked raggity..the men. Wearing what appeared to be burlap and large chunks of wood strapped to their chest with rope for some sort of protection. But...the chaos ended quickly..the men in the hazmat suits we're quickly defeated. These raggity men we're clearly threats, and they weren't the only ones.

​

So what have we gathered?

1. We aren't alone

2. There are what appear to be researchers, or scientists watching and studying you

3. There are creatures, and they appear to be something straight out of a zombie movie

4. There are other men like you, who have gathered into collectives to hunt and survive on the land

​

So what's next?

​

Well, that's your choice. Will you build? Will you cave in and fall to what surrounds you?

Only time will tell. But one thing is for certain..

​

You will DIE. If you don't fight.
